I'm a Consumer Lawyer
I started practicing law in 1986. My first job as a lawyer was in the Texas Attorney General's Office, in the Consumer Protection Division. I worked there as an Assistant Attorney General for almost 14 years. I handled a wide variety of consumer cases, including cases involving false advertising, overcharging, illegal practices in the credit card and mortgage industries, internet and computer frauds, fraudulent medical devices, drugs, and dietary supplements, auto fraud, employment scams, and many other cases in which products or services were misrepresented. The companies I prosecuted were both large and small, including fly-by-nights, the Fortune 500 and everything in between. I helped recover over one hundred million dollars in restitution for consumers during my years in the Attorney General's Office.
I was one of the first lawyers in the State of Texas to become Board Certified in Consumer Law, and remain one of only a handful of lawyers who have that certification in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I have lectured at law conferences around the country for groups including the National Association of Attorneys General, the Food and Drug Law Institute, the Promotion Marketing Association, and the Federal Trade Commission. I am currently a member of the Advisory Council of the Consumer Law Section of the State Bar of Texas.
I'm now in private practice. I handle all kinds of consumer cases, and I specialize in cases involving identity theft, debt collection harassment, credit report problems, and auto fraud. If you have such a consumer case, I can help.

You can call or email me to set up an appointment to discuss your case. I charge a flat fee of $200 for a consultation, but I am willing to waive that if it sounds like you have a good case and can't afford the consultation fee.
I'll also waive the $200 fee if you'll submit your case via my Free Case Review form.
